Zackary Ty "Zack" Schneider, 42, of Monticello, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026 in Monticello.
He was born on March 27, 1984 in Logansport to Kenneth G Schneider and Jolynn "Jo" (Teel) Troyer. On November 4, 2014 he married Lauren Henry in Monticello. She survives.
He was a 2003 graduate of Winamac High School and worked as a material handler at Ball Corporation for twelve years where he was a model employee. He liked landscaping and traveling. He especially liked to vacation in Miami and the keys. Kayaking was a favorite activity while in Florida. He played basketball in high school and enjoyed playing as an adult. He loved fashion and liked shopping for clothes and shoes and wanted to make sure his family had the latest trends. Zack supported his children and their sporting events, often skipping lunch at work to attend their games.
In addition to his parents and wife, Lauren, is survived by three children, Jayden Brynn Schneider, Cali Mae Schneider and Piper Noelle Schneider all of Monticello; five siblings, Chadwick G Schneider of Akron, Jessica L (Larry) Green of Rochester, Laynie Rouch of New York City, Abbey Rouch of Chicago, Heather Hines of Monticello; grandfather, George Schneider of Winamac; niece, Emma Schneider; and mother-in-law, Laurie Henry of West Lafayette.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Joe and Betty Teel and paternal grandmother, Cecilia Schneider.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Please wear bright and tropical colors in honor of Zack.
Memorial contributions may be payable to Lauren to help with the future needs of his children. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
