William V. "Bill" Dolick, 81, of Reynolds, passed away at 10:55 pm, Thursday, September 20, 2018 at IU Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, as a result of a fall from a ladder.He was born on November 25, 1936 in Lafayette to the late Vincent W. and Clara (Baumer) Dolick. On November 6, 1965 he married the former Rose Marie Emge at St. Mary's Cathedral in Lafayette and she survives.Bill was a 1955 graduate of Wolcott High School served in the Army National Guard. Bill was a lifelong farmer. He started farming for his Uncle who farmed his land with horses. After his uncle's death, he farmed with his father. While in high school Bill was a member of FFA and also Indiana Rural Youth.He enjoyed farming, amature photography and years ago liked making family videos. Bill attended farm and tractor shows and many festivals. He was an avid Purdue fan and enjoyed collecting Purdue memorabilia. He also collected antique tractors. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Reynolds. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. John Neumann Council #6955 of Monticello and was a 4th degree Knight. He was also a member of the Reynolds Antique Power Association.He is also survived by three sons, John William (companion, Debbie) Dolick of Flora, Anthony Paul Dolick, Sr. of Reynolds, Timothy Joseph Dolick of Monticello; brother, Robert H. (Bertie) Dolick of Reynolds; buddy, George Schmidt; three grandsons, Anthony P. Dolick, Jr., Brandon M. Dolick, Christopher M. (Aubrey) Dolick.Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 4 pm until 8 pm (EDT) at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Scripture service will be at 3:45 pm.Additionally, friends may visit with the family from 9:30 am until 11:30 am, Thursday, September 27, 2018 at St. Joe Catholic Church in Reynolds.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am, Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Reynolds with Father Fintan Cummings celebrating.Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Reynolds.Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or for Masses with envelopes available at the funeral home and at the church.Messages of condolence may be extended at www.springerfuneralhome.com
