Walter Jon Juntgen

Walter Jon Juntgen, 69, of Monticello, passed away at 7:43pm, Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. He was born on September 22, 1946 in Terre Haute to the late Walter and Frances (Grau) Juntgen.Jon was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Monticello. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He studied photography in New York. Jon was an independent photographer for Eileen Ford Model Institute. He is survived by three brothers, Steven (Cathy) Juntgen of Monticello, Tim (Linda) Juntgen of North Carolina and Bruce (Becky) Juntgen of Indianapolis.He is preceded in death by his parents. The family requests that guests dress casually to celebrate Jon's life. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of funeral services at 2pm, Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello, with friend Tom Pasquale and Rev. Chris Dodson officiating. Burial will follow at the Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery in rural Monticello with full Military Rites. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or to the Happy Tails.
