Scott Douglas "Doug" Quick, 50, of Monticello, passed away at 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette.He was born on October 15, 1965 in Lebanon to Lloyd Dale and Janet (Swafford) Larimer.Doug was a carpenter and worked as a framer and in construction. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, mushroom hunting and spending time with his family and his dogs.Doug is survived by his daughter, Megan Simmons of Monon; siblings, Patricia Barnes of Monticello, Lloyd Dean Quick of Lebanon, Michael J. Larimer of Caseville, MI, Nadine (Ron) Krieger of Pennsylvania, Steve (Martha) Larimer of Billings MT, Debbie Quick of Lebanon; and special friends, Cheryl Hartman of Monticello, Kevin Larimer of Idaville, and John "Sarge" Preston of Norway.He was also preceded in death by a step brother David Larimer.Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of services at 6:00 pm on Monday, June 13 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Storm officiating.Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to offset expenses.
