Ruth Paluchniak

Ruth Paluchniak, 90, of Monticello, died at 9:12pm on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello. She was born May 7, 1922 in Detroit, MI to the late Alfred and Cora (Corrigan) Tyson. Her marriage was to the late Joseph Warren Paluchniak on August 24, 1941 in Detroit, MI. He preceded her in death in 2003. Mrs. Paluchniak graduated from Detroit High School. She had worked at Bryan Manufacturing. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Monticello. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (Tom) Bessler of Monticello; a son, David (Jane) Paluchniak of Monticello; 4 Grandsons, Scott Paluchniak of Monticello, Troy (Danielle) Paluchniak of Monticello, Timothy (Leslie) Bessler of Brookston, Eric (Tammy) Bessler of Brookston; Granddaughter, Andrea (Scott) Yahner of San Diego, CA; 16 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one sister, Betty. A Rosary will be at 3:30 pm on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Visitation will follow until 6pm at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Friday, January 18, 2013, at 10am with Father Gerald Borawski officiating. Burial will follow at Hughes Cemetery in Monticello.
