Roy W. Jessee

Roy W. Jessee, 74, of West Lafayette, passed away at 9:30 pm, Thursday, June 8, 2017 at his residence.He was born on November 20, 1942 in Lafayette to the late George Carter and Nola Irene (Treece) Jessee. On June 4, 1999 he married the former Toni G. McMurray in New Port Richey, Fl and she survives.He was a graduate of Dayton High School and worked as a Senior Chemical Operator for Eli Lilly in Lafayette. Roy enjoyed golf and playing cards. He especially loved spending time with his family. In addition to his wife Toni, he is survived by his children, JoDell Saint James of Eagan, MN, Rosemary (Jeff) Alexander of Isanti, MN, and Bill (Pam) Creger of Isanti, MN; stepchildren, David (Cathy) Gullion of Chicago, and Tami (Joe) Mackey of Lafayette; two brothers, J.D. (Cathy) Jessee and Kenny (Kris) Jessee both of Lafayette; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, June 12, 2017 from noon until the time of services at 2 pm celebrating Roy's life at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with Rev. Nathan Wybrew officiating.Burial will follow in Yeoman Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be given to Claire E. and Patrick G.
