Ronald D. Kozma

Ronald "Ron" Dean Kozma, 73, of Monticello, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026 at I U Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.

He was born on February 6, 1953 in Logansport to the late John and Geneeva (Robertson) Kozma. On January 4, 1993 he married Christine Wheeldon in Kentucky. She survives.

Ron was a graduate of Logansport High School. He worked at Ball Corporation for thirty-five years before working for Donaldson Company. He was currently working at Regal Manufacturing. 

Ron had a love for motorcycles, boats and fishing. He was very quick-witted, never at a loss for a quick comeback. He’d do or say anything for a good laugh.

He is survived by his children, Larry John of CO, Talia Holtmeier of Monticello, Brett Kozma of Monticello, Brittany Osburn of Monticello, Michael (Bridget) Buschman of Monticello, Kyle Buschman of AL, Jessica (Levi) Fielding of Monticello; grandchildren, Christian Buschman, Lydia Buschman, Nevaeh Buschman, Ayden Osburn,, Elijah Conard, Aliegha Buschman, David Fielding, Isaiah Fielding, Ella Fielding, Colton R. Smith, Myca E. Smith, Ava R Smith.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Kozma.
