Robert Neil "Bob" Larson, 64, of rural Monticello, passed Sunday morning at 3:22 am, January 7, 2024 at IU Health Arnett in Lafayette.

Bob was born on August 30, 1958 in Monticello to the late Robert E. Larson and Shirley (Nicewander) Larson. His mother survives in Yeoman. 

He married his wife, Linda (Bellah) on July 2, 2003 and they enjoyed their 20 years together at their home on Lake Freeman. She survives in Monticello. 

Bob was a 1977 graduate of Twin Lakes High School and received his associates degree from Ivy Tech. He was a member of the Local #157, Plumbers and Pipefitters Union in Lafayette, retiring September 1, 2022.  

Along with his wife and mother, he is survived by a stepson, Chris (Jasmine) Bellah of  West Lafayette; a granddaughter, Haley; one sister, Mary (Jack) Hammond of Monticello; one nephew, Justin (Mariah) Berry of Detroit; three nieces, Amy (Aaron) Lentner of Washington, DC, Jessica (Tyler) Viney of Monticello, Allison (Ken) Addison of Cincinnati; great nephew, Ben Berry; five great nieces, Evelyn Lentner, Imogen Lentner, Isabelle Berry, Sadie Berry and Payton Viney.

He was also preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Robert A. (Frances E.) Larson; maternal grandparents, Fred (Florence) Nicewander; several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Visitation will be Monday, January 15, 2024 from 11:00 am until time of service celebrating Robert's life at 1:00 pm at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello, with Rev. Brian Beeks of the Monticello United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be held privately at the Dayton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Riley's Children Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
