PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR ENGLISHRenato Junior Puga Garcia, 24, de Monticello, falleci en su residencia universitaria en Berkeley, California.Nacido el 14 de febrero de 1993 en Morelia, Mxico, era hijo de Jos Renato y Amada (Garca) Puga, residentes de Monticello, Indiana.Renato se gradu de la preparatoria Twin Lakes High School, primero en su clase, donde form parte del equipo de ftbol, particip en atletismo y fue miembro del Club de Espaol, la Sociedad Honoraria Nacional y la Sociedad Honoraria Nacional de Espaol. Recibi una beca Bill Gates Millennium, que le permiti asistir sin costo a la Universidad Butler. En su tercer ao de estudios lleg a ser el primero de su clase y estuvo entre los 10 mejores en su ltimo ao. Adems, fue el presidente de su fraternidad, Phi Kappa Psi. Renato recibi su ttulo universitario en Psicologa de Butler. En el momento de su fallecimiento, estaba asistiendo a la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de California en Berkeley y tena una pasanta en el bufete de abogados Cooley, LLP. A Renato le gustaba jugar al ftbol, leer libros de autoayuda, hacer ejercicio, estudiar y pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. Adems de sus padres, le sobreviven una hermana, Jessica Puga Garca, y un hermano, Eduardo Puga Garca, ambos de Monticello, as como numerosos tos, tas y primos. El velorio se realizar el lunes 11 de septiembre de 2017, de 4 pm a 8 pm en la casa funeraria Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home de Monticello. A las 8 pm (hora del este) se rezar el rosario en el mismo lugar. A las 10 de la maana del martes 12 se celebrar una misa en la iglesia catlica Our Lady of the Lakes en Monticello, oficiada por el padre David Rasner y el dicono Jos Muoz. While at Twin Lakes, he played varsity soccer, ran track, was a member of the Spanish Club, National Honor Society, and Spanish National Honor Society.He was a recipient of the Bill Gates Millennium Scholarship which provided him a full ride to Butler University. During his third year at Butler he was ranked first in his class, and was in the top ten of his class his senior year. He served as president of his fraternity, Phi Kappa Psi. Renato received his Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Butler.He was attending the University of California Berkeley School of Law and was serving an internship with the law firm Cooley, LLP.Renato enjoyed playing soccer, reading self-help books, working out, studying, and hanging out with his family and friends.In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister, Jessica Puga Garcia and a brother, Eduardo Puga Garcia both of Monticello; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm (EDT), on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. The Rosary will be prayed at 8pm.A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am (EDT), Tuesday at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Monticello with Father David Rasner, the celebrant and Deacon Jose Munoz.Renato will be laid to rest in Riverview I.O.O.F.
