Ray Phillips

Ray Phillips, 100, a resident of Spring Park, MN, formerly of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007 in Spring Park, MN. He was born November 18, 1906. He married the late Charlotte Phillips, and they were married for 75 years. Mr. Phillips was a long time former resident moving to Monticello in 1933. He was retired from NIPSCO. Mr. Phillips was a very active member of the Monticello United Methodist Church for 68 years. He was also long time Boy Scout Leader. Survivors include Son: Tom (Betty Jo) Phillips of 4715 Walnut Grove Lane North. Plymouth, MN 55446 and Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte, and a son, Bruce. A tribute to celebrate his life will be conducted at 11 am Monday, June 11, 2007, at the Monticello United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the Monticello United Methodist Church. Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
