Ralph Coble, 86, of Monticello, passed away at 7:52 am, Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Monticello Healthcare. He was born on December 31, 1928 to the late Crowell and Georgia (Rodebough) Coble in Frankfort, Indiana. Mr.Coble attended Rockville High School. He was in the Navy, where he received his GED. Mr. Coble was a retired electrician from the Logansport power plant. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, AMVETS Post 91 and the Redmens Lodge. Mr. Coble enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and woodworking. He loved to tinker with things. He is survived by three daughters, Lisa (Larry) Farney of Oxford, Cindy (Bill) Jones of AZ, Sharon (Bob) William of Monticello; a son, Kevin (Mandi) Coble of Monticello; five grandchildren, Danielle (Cory) Richardson of Lafayette, Justin Miller of Florida, Nicole (Dennis) Shea of Maryland, Jaclynn Williams of LaPorte and Breanna Coble of Monticello; and 8 great grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by a son, Douglas Coble; a brother, Robert Coble and a sister, Delores Isles. A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the AMVET Memorial Park in Monticello. Located off of Northwestern Avenue. Memorials may be given to the wounded warriors.
