Pearl E. Leonard, 94, of Monticello (Buffalo area), passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at her residence.

She was born on March 16, 1931 in Elkhart to the late Ray and Evelyn (Sheets) Silver. On June 25, 1954, she married John "Kenny" Leonard at the Calvary Presbyterian Church in Logansport. He preceded her in death on December 5, 1975.

Pearl was a graduate of Meta High School and went on to work at RBM in Logansport for 15 years and then at Delco Electronics in Kokomo for 30 years from where she retired. She attended Sitka Baptist Church and formerly taught Sunday School. She was a member of Local 292, Royal Center OES #375 and American Legion Ancillary Post 60 since 1964. She enjoyed bowling and participated in state and national championships. She played piano. She loved Christmas. Most of all, she cherished her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy "Dodi" (Paul) DeWitt of Galveston, IN; daughter-in-law, Arlene Leonard of Buffalo; two grandchildren, Angella Leonard and John (Stephanie) Leonard; great grandchildren, Kaden Cupp, Adley Cupp and John Graham Leonard.

In addition to her parents and husband, Kenny, she was also preceded in death by a son, John "Gil" Leonard; sisters, Doris Silver, Carol Douglas, Kathleen Binney and Margaret Campbell.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of services celebrating Pearl's life at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department or Happy Tails. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
