Paul Ray Rose, 60, of Monticello, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the home of his daughter in Monon.
He was born on April 18, 1961 in Lafayette to Paul R. and Patricia Ann (Alsop) Rose. On August 8, 1987 he married Brenda Jarrard in Lafayette. She preceded him in death on April 5, 2021.
He was a graduate of Harrison High School and worked in boiler maintenance at Purdue University. Paul liked to shoot guns and was a member of NRA. He attended Bible study over Amazon Alexa. He lead Smart Recovery. He loved spreading the word of God. Paul was a soft spoken man and he never knew a stranger. He cherished his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was a member of the Monticello Christian Church.
Surviving are his daughters, Natasha S. (Mark) Lock of Monon and Erica (Ed) Anderson of Frankfort; brothers, Mike (Tracy) Rose of Lafayette, Brian Rose of FL; grandchildren, Natalie (Cody) Johnson, Seth Mullis, Hope Lock, Monica Sharp, Emma Novaski, Tatyana Escalante, Tylor Escalante, Trent Anderson; and great-granddaughter, Ember Johnson.
In addition to his parents and wife, Brenda, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jana Talbert, and grandson Dylan Mullis.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of services celebrating Paul's life at 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Rev. Benji Riddle of the Monticello Christian Church will officiate services.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Association for pancreatic cancer or Monticello Christian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
