Patricia J. Snowberger, 68, of Monticello, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at I U Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born on February 2, 1953 in Lafayette to the late Wilbur and Betty (Halsema) Lane.
Patricia had worked at McGills, now Regal Beloit Corporation until her retirement in 2020. She had also been a supervisor at A.O. Smith, formerly of Monticello and worked as the kitchen manager at the Am Vets.
Pat was a life member of the Am Vets Auxiliary, was a member of Redmens Lodge, Eagles, Monticello 2570, and the NRA. She was a lover of gardening and had a green thumb. She enjoyed being in the sun. She was a #1 Jeff Gordon fan. She especially cherished time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her companion of 30 years, Alan Newgent of Monticello; her children, Lucretia J. (James) Snow of Chalmers, Paxton (Jayne) Snowberger of Monticello; siblings, Judy (Charles) Marchand of Delphi, and Mike Lane of Flora; granddaughter, Gabrielle Snowberger of Monticello; and her cats, Buddy and Misha.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Burnside.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 5, 2021 from noon until the time of memorial services at 3:00 pm celebrating Pat's life at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Her son Paxton Snowberger will officiate services.
Memorial contributions may be given to ASPCA. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Donors may also give online if preferred at www.aspca.org
