Patricia A. "Pat" Voorhis, 90, of Monticello passed away at 10:10 am on Friday May 6, 2016 at Franciscan St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette.She was born March 20, 1926 in Kokomo, to the late E. Estil and Frances (Register) Franklin. She married Malcolm McClure on May 11, 1947 in Lafayette. He preceded her in death on September 29, 1996. On March 20, 1999, in Monticello, she married Harry W. "Bus" Voorhis and he survives.She was a graduate of Frankfort High School and attended MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois.Pat was primarily a homemaker and was the former owner of the Clothesline in Monticello. She also worked at Purdue University in the Life Sciences Library. She was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church, P.E.O., past member of the Tippecanoe Country Club. Pat enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, boating, dancing and time spent with friends and family.In addition to her husband, Harry she is survived by two sons; Michael (Helen) McClure, of Muncie, Mark (Kerry) McClure, of The Woodlands, TX, and a daughter Cynthia (Doug) Raderstorf of Monticello; stepdaughters, Pam Myers, of Oceanside, CA, Brenda Metcalf, Rhonda (Eukie) Stangle, Angela (Ken) Dyer all of Monticello; twelve grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Stephen McClure; grandson Charles McClure; and her brother Robert Franklin.Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services celebrating Pat's life will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday, at the funeral home with Rev. Brian Beeks of the Monticello United Methodist Church officiating.Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Foundation of White County. Donations will benefit the Malcolm McClure Fund for Camp Tecumseh. Donations may also be given to the Monticello United Methodist Church for the Family Life Center project.Online condolences and expressions of sympathy may be extended at www.springerfuneralhome.com
