Patricia A. Earhart

Patricia was born May 26, 1934 in Burnettsville, Indiana, the daughter of Galen and Alice (Cover) Swayze. On October 27, 1979, at West Hills Baptist church, Canoga Park, Pat was united in marriage to her loving husband. Kay E. Earhart, who survives, along with her two children, Brant Julian and Brenna Brown, Simi Valley, three stepchildren, Kathi Niggemann, Illinois, Charles Earhart and Elizabeth Laher, Maryland, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two brothers, Richard and Ronald Swayze. Pat was a secretary at Rocketdyne, a housewife, loving mother, excellent cook and charming hostess. She was an avid bridge player both socially and in competition, usually closing with a three no trump bid. Her first priority was always her family and friends. Pat was a licensed lobbyist in Sacramento, a member of Shepherd Of The Hills Church, Eastern Star, Woodland Hills & Canoga Park Women's clubs and Red Hatters. Pat played the piano and loved dancing and traveling. We will all miss our "Happy Pat". Private services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home.
