Ona Della Bettie Kubly

Ona Della Bettie Kubly, 81, Of Monticello passed away Friday, September 21, 2007, at 1:45 pm at White County Memorial Hospital She was born June 27, 1926 in Cameron, Texas to the late John Landrum Odam and the late Bettie (Beckhusen) Odam. Her marriage was to James Robert Kubly on July 11, 1945 in Cameron Texas. He passed away June 6, 1988. Mrs. Kubly had been a hairdresser for over 50 years, primarily operating a shop from her home. She was a member of the Moose Women's auxillary and the American Legion Women's Auxillary. She was an avid bowler and a proud member of the Monticello Bowiling Association for over 50 years. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. Survivors inclued: 2 Sons, Dennis L. (Janis) Kubly of Goodyear, Aiz, Michael W. Kubly of Galveston, IN; Daughter, Sandra Dell Eismin of West Lafayette, IN; Brother, Billie Landrum (Eudell) Odam of San Antonio, TX; 7 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents; 5 Brothers; and a sister. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm, Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Thursday, September 27, 2007, 10:30 am with Rev. Chris Dodson from the Monticello Christian Church officiating. Burial will be at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monticello. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
