Olga Marie Kwolek

Olga Marie Kwolek, 68, of Monticello, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022 at White Oak Health Campus.
She was born on February 4, 1954 in Chicago Heights, IL to the late Andrew and Guillerma (Ramos) Ramirez. On June 19, 1979 she married Phillip Kwolek in Crown Point and he survives.
Olga was a 1972 graduate of Hammond High School. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church and also attended Christ Fellowship Church of Monticello. She had worked in a nursing home in Burnham, IL, Jewel Grocery Chain for thirty years, as an insurance agent, a Mary Kay Consultant and lastly as a real estate agent. She loved gardening, toll painting, wood work crafting, and shopping. She was a lover of animals and enjoyed spending time with her pets.
She is survived by step-son, Brian (Darlene) Kwolek of Kokomo; daughter, Michelle (Bob) Porter of Monterey, IN; siblings, Ofelia Garcia, Paula Myers, Oscar (Michelle) Ramirez, Mary (Hubert) Lopez, Jimmy (Judith) Ramirez; four grandchildren, Peter Kwolek, Madison (Josh), Jordan, and Ella Bella; two great grandchildren, Eston, and Hayven "Bob".
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brothers, Gonzalo, Virgil and Hector Ramirez, sister, Antonia Ramirez.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be at a later date.
