Mitzi Marie Littleton

Mitzi Marie Littleton, 61, of Montrose, Colorado passed away on October 18, 2017. Mitzi was born on March 30, 1956 in Lafayette to Charlotte (Hunt) Meinders and the late Vernon Meinders.Although Mitzi was born in Lafayette, she spent most of her life in Indianapolis until about a year ago when she moved to Montrose. She had a strong work ethic and spent most of her working career as a secretary and later operated her own cleaning business. She was a member of Homeplace Lions Club. Before her sickness, she was very physically active. She was loved by many and touched many hearts as well. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.Surviving are her mother, Charlotte Meinders; daughters, Christy Scales and Shelley Shipley; brothers, Terry and Phillip Meinders; and her grandchildren, Justin, Jeremiah and Felicia Snodgrass, and Kallen and Lincoln Shipley.She was also preceded in death by her sister, Becky Meinders.A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 4:00 pm at the home of her daughter, Shelley Shipley.Graveside committal services will be celebrated the following Saturday at 11:00 am, November 11, 2017 at Riverview I.O.O.F.
