Michael Stotler

Michael Eugene Stotler, 62, of Monticello, passed away at 7:22 am, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at IU Health White Memorial Hospital.He was born on May 6, 1955 in to the late Wayne and Evelyn (Bone) Stotler.Michael graduated from Twin Lakes High School and attended Indiana State University receiving his Bachelor degree in Social Work. He worked as a social worker for White County Family Services for 16 years. Michael volunteered for with the Red Cross, answering phones for the suicide hot line and was involved with the Indiana Civil Liberties Union. Michael enjoyed music, concerts, playing cards and pinball. .He is survived by brother, Rickey (Carol) Stotler of Monticello; a sister, Misty Stotler of Lafayette; companion, David Hawn, of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews.
