Matthew R. Dickison, 47, of Wolcott, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019 at his residence.
He was born on December 16, 1971 in Monticello to the late Barry and Nancy (Houston) Dickison who survives. On July 16, 2016 he married the former Cynthia "Cyndi" (Huse) Jones at the Monon Community Church and she survives.
He was a 1990 graduate of Twin Lakes High School and worked as a fork lift operator for Monsanto by Bayer in Remington.
Matthew enjoyed video games. He was passionate about helping people and about his grandkids. He especially loved wrestling with them. Cake was his favorite food group and he especially liked the icing.
Along with his mother, Nancy of Lafayette; and his wife, Cyndi of Wolcott surviving are his step sons, Colton (Britiney) Jones of Monticello, Edward Jones of Goodland, Gabriel (Hayden) Jones of Wolcott; sister, Amy (Shawn) Walker of Lafayette; and grandchildren, Zoey, Trustin, Owen, and Tobias Jones.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bradley Dickison.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm (EDT) until the time of services celebrating Matt's life at 7:00 pm (EDT) on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the Monon Community Church with Pastor Mark Newman officiating.
