Marlene Sue Tetzloff

Marlene Sue Tetzloff, 69, of Monticello, passed away at 6:45 pm, Friday, March 14, 2014 at her residence. She was born at the family farm in Idaville on March 5, 1945 to the late Leslie and Winifred (Brady) Marquess who survives. Marlene was a 1963 graduate of Idaville High School. She went back to school at the age of 60 to fulfill her life long dream of becoming a nurse. She received her associates degree from Ivy Tech in Lafayette and worked as an LPN at Monticello Assisted Living and Health Care. She loved her nursing career and was a dedicated nurse. She attended Buffalo Christian Church and Idaville First Church of God. She was baptized in Bethel Temple Church in 1967, where she taught Sunday School. Above all, she loved and cherished time spent with family. Surving in addition to her mother, Winifred, are two daughters, Misty J. Tetzloff, Jerilene (Alan) Bartlow both of Monticello; two sons, Kimball (Heather) Tetzloff of Fort Wayne, Brice Tetzloff of Monticello; three brothers, Billy Joe Marquess of Monticello, Robert (Mary) Marquess of O'Fallon, Missouri, Dave (Gina) Marquess of Burnettsville; twelve grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Sheena, Nathan, Tyler, Ryanne, Seth, Lauren, Mason, Jacob, Gage, and Blake; ten great grandchildren, Braylon, Laila, Bella, Henry, Brady, Leslie, Liam, Alaina, Alivia, Austin; and her dog, Lucy. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8 pm (EDT), Friday, March 21, 2014 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Funeral services will be at 10 am (EDT) Saturday at the funeral home with Tom Haynie officiating. Memorials may be given to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
