Margaret "Maggie" LeeAnn Herrmann, 42, of Logansport, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026 at Parkview Logansport Hospital.
She was born on August 7, 1983 in Lafayette to Perry and Kimberly (Ferdinand) Powers. On November 11, 2011 she married Timothy Herrmann in West Lafayette He survives.
She was a 2002 graduate of Twin Lakes High School and received her bachelor's degree from Purdue University.
Maggie worked as a case manager at Wabash Valley and then as an Eligibility Consultant for the State of Indiana. She liked cooking and baking and was known for her lemon bars. She enjoyed reading, listening to many genres of music and musicals. Her favorite musical was West Side Story. She loved cats and Miss Mabel. She cherished her children and her entire family.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Tim, she is survived by three children, Joseph Herrmann of Danville, IL, Aden Herrmann of Monticello, Finn Powers, still at home; two sisters, Francesca (Jason) Livengood of Gilbert, AZ, Andrea (John) Boyer of Frankfort; father and mother-law, Michael and Brenda Herrmann of Monticello; grandmother, Betty Ferdinand of Monticello; several nieces, nephews, and great niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Raymond Ferdinand.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of services at 7:00 pm Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with her great uncle, Pastor Keith Raderstorf officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Cass County Mental Health Initiative. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home
