Louise Hacker Watkins

Louise Hacker Watkins, 95, of Frankfort, formerly of Monticello and Logansport, passed away at 11:23 am, Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Wesley Manor in Frankfort. She was born on August 17, 1920 in Linden, MI to the late Clarence and Clevo (Williams) Watkins. She married Robert Hacker on December 28, 1943. He preceded her in death. Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monticello. She lived in Monticello most of her life. She spent eleven years in Florida and then moved to Logansport in 1988. Mrs. Watkins worked as a florist in Monticello and Logansport. She is survived by daughter, Dee (Russ) Miller of Lafayette; son, Thomas Hacker of Anderson; one granddaughter; two great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Donald, Albert, Robert and Billy Watkins; and sister, Icel Jeanne Krieg. Visitation will be from 2pm until time of funeral services at 3pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Memorials may be given to the Humane Society of Donor's Choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
