Julia Lynne Poore

Julia Lynne Poore, 56, of Burnettsville, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne.

She was born on November 6, 1965 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Douglas Albert Barnard and the late Nancy May (Armstrong) Barnard. She married Guy Poore on December 3, 2011 in Lake Cicott. He survives in Burnettsville.

Julia was proud of getting her diploma. She worked at Rural King in several different positions. She enjoyed shooting guns and learning was a great achievement. Julia also enjoyed going back and forth to Canada to see friends and family. She was proud to be "half and half". Her passions were her family and cats. Julia demonstrated her love by gift giving. She liked music and dancing. Above all she cherished her family, friends, and extended family by the campfire.

She is survived by her father, Douglas and step-mother, Marie of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; five children, Brook (Allen) Crist of Royal Center, Mindy (James) Boehme of Logansport, Guy (Jill) Poore of Royal Center, Juan Gomez of Logansport, and Carmen (Kevin Coffin) Poore of Logansport; three siblings, Paul (Reha) Barnard of Ontario, Canada, Randy (Luci) Barnard of Ontario, Canada and Michelle (Ian) Barnard-Holdforth of Ontario, Canada; step-mother, Marie Barnard; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a special niece, Valerie Barnard (husband, Andrew Hume) Oshawa, Ontario, Canada and other several nieces,nephews, cousins and extended family.

In addition to her mother, Nancy Armstrong Lewis, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Barnard.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm EST. until 8:00 pm EST. Monday, October 3, 2022 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello.

Funeral services and burial will be in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada entrusted with Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home.
