John 'Jack' Edgar Robinson

John "Jack" Edgar Robinson, 72, of Avon Park, Florida, formerly of Monon passed away on August 8, 2021.
He was born on February 23, 1949 in Lafayette to the late John J. and Hazel (Onken) Robinson. On August 1, 1992 he married Michele Schweitzer in Monon and she survives.
He was a graduate of North White High School and then joined the United States Army serving during Vietnam. John was a railroad engineer for CSX for 42 years. He enjoyed playing golf.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Rebecca (fiance, Brian Droski) Princell of Monon, Jennifer Scott (fiance, Doug Strott) of Pittsburgh, PA, Eric (Susie) Scott of Peoria,IL; grandchildren, Travis (Kelsie) Combs, Allison Princell, Nolan Princell, Ethan Scott, Dylan Scott; great grandchild, Evanelle Combs; siblings, Karilyn (Larry) Brown of Monon, Judy East of Danville, Dianne Brown of Monon, Nancy (Robert) Princell of Monon.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Robinson.
Memorial celebration visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm ending with prayer and a blessing at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
