Jeneen L. Sparks

Jeneen (Beasey) Sparks  was born August 5, 1949 in Lafayette to the late Luther and Phyliss (Pauley) Beasey. Her passing was on December 17, 2023 with her family surrounding her after a long illness with cancer.

Jeneen was raised in Monon, where she attended and graduated from North White High School in 1968. She worked at many different trailer plants in Monon for 30 plus years with the majority of her career being in Human Resources and helping the majority of the employees.

Jeneen attended Christ's Church in Monticello where the word was learned and lived by the best possible way. She tried to live her life, the very best she could, by loving and forgiving as her Lord taught . She also thought it was imperative to not just say she had faith, but that she walked the faith in the best way possible.

Jeneen is survived by the soul and love of her life, Jack Sparks of Monon whom she married at the Baptist Church in Monon on August 15, 1970.

She is also survived by her children, Stamie (Chuck) Sommers of Idaville, Jarrod Sparks (Stephanie Mattix)  of Monon, and Justin (Kristen) Sparks of Monon; three grandchildren, Ethan  Sparks, Kobie  Sparks of Monon, and  Elly  Sparks of Francesville; three sisters, Lois (Jim) Runk of Brookston, Mara Lynn Beasey of Woodbury, TN and Deborah (Terry, deceased) Beasey of Buffalo; sister-in-law, Louise (Kenny) Spangle of Monticello; brother-in-law, Bill (Sondra, deceased) Criswell of Idaville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. With so many special friends way too numerous to name.

Along with her parents, Jeneen is preceded in death by a brother, Terry L. Beasey and sister-in-laws, Sondra Criswell and Linda Gallinger.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 11:00 am until time of services celebrating Jeneen's life at 1:00 pm at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home.  Gregg Nydegger will officiate services.
