Jean F. Pearson, 95, of Monticello, passed away at 3:40 pm, Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at her residence.She was born on September 25, 1920 in Carroll County to the late Blaine and Goldie (Campbell) Tribbett. She married Jay Pearson and he preceded her in death in 1971.Jean worked for many years at Brown Rubber Company in Lafayette.She was a member of the Burnettsville First Baptist Church, the Lafayette Eagles, and the Peru Women of the Moose auxiliary. She lived in Burnettsville for many years before moving to Port Richey, FL for 13 years. She returned to Burnettsville in April of 1994.She enjoyed crocheting and was a person who had an adventurous spirit. On her 90th birthday, she enjoyed a ride on a Harley Davidson. Also in her 90's, she enjoyed a ride on the four wheelers as well.She is survived by a son, Donald L. Tribbitt of Monticello; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and 1 great-great-great grandchild.Also preceding her in death were brothers, Cloyd, Robert, and Gerald Tribbett; sisters, Donna Moss and Ruby Moon; son, Jimmy; and daughter, Kathy.Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of services celebrating Jean's life 1:00 pm Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with Pastor Paul Scott of the First Baptist Church of Burnettsville officiating.Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be given to the First Baptist Church of Burnettsville.
