Jean Morrison, 89, of Monticello, passed away at 8:25 pm, Sunday, January 7, 2018 at IU White Memorial Hospital.She was born on August 11, 1928 in Huntley, IL to the late William and Marie (Schmitt) Peterson. On August 28, 1948 she married August Wille at Immanual Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake, IL. He preceded her in death January 30, 1988. On May 15, 1993 she married Leonard Kasting at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Woodstock, IL. He preceded her in death September 21, 2000. On July 1, 2006 she married Andy Morrison at New Hope Lutheran Church in Monticello and he preceded her in death on January 27, 2012.She was a 1946 graduate of Huntley High School and then worked as an Inspector for Precision Twist Drill in Crystal Lake, IL until her retirement after 33 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Monticello where she was part of the Presbyterian Women and a Deaconess.Jean enjoyed sewing, playing cards, embroidery, knitting, quilting, making wedding cakes and wedding dresses, reading and she was a great baker.She is survived by three daughters, Julie (Ken) Huff of Monticello, Brenda (John) Light of Delevan, WI, Christine Wille of Palm Desert, CA; three sisters, Lois (Joe) Grasser of Woodstock, IL, Patricia Briarton of Lakeland, FL, Judy (Warren) Thomas of Kentucky; brother, William (Georgia) Peterson of Woodstock, IL; sister-in-law, Judy Peterson of Woodstock, IL; six grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lawanna Berhens, son, Earl Wille, brothers, David, Donald, Dick, Tom, and sisters, Doris, Della, and Irene.Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of services at 10:30 am Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church of Monticello with Pastor Brandon Eddy officiating.Graveside committal service will be Wednesday, January 10 at noon (CST) at McHenry Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock, IL.Memorial contributions may be given to the First Presbyterian Church of Monticello.
