Jean Elizabeth Mcaninch

Jean Elizabeth McAninch, 84, of Monticello, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Mulberry Health.

She was born on October 28, 1938 in Ipswich, England to the late William and Charlotte (Saddler) Polley.

On February 16, 1957 she married Merrill McAninch in Ipswich, England, and would have been married for 65 years. He survives in Monticello.

Jean was a graduate of Christ Church School in Ipswich, England and received her Bachelors degree in business from Indiana Wesleyan. She worked for RR Donnelley in Crawfordsville for over 30 years. She was also a substitute teacher for 15 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Kim (Steve) Snellenbarger of Monticello, IN; son, Kent McAninch of Wingate, IN; one granddaughter, Rachel Snellenbarger of Round Rock, TX; one grandson, Ross (Stacey) Snellenbarger of Brownsburg, IN; and four great grandchildren, Ben, Amy, Sara and Bishop.

A graveside service will be held at Davis cemetery on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 1:00pm with Pastor Nord Zootman officiating.

In lieu of flowers,memorials are encouraged to Riley's Children Hospital Ronald McDonald House.
