Geraldine "Gerry" Reynolds, 86, of Monticello, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026 at her residence.
She was born on October 22, 1939 in Hammond to the late Joseph and Marian (Moyer) Jenkins. She married Edward Reynolds in 1971, celebrating nearly 55 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2026.
She was a 1957 graduate of Hammond Technical Vocational High School. She worked as a legal secretary for over 39 years for several attorney's; Stanley Tweedle, John Goss, Hoeppner, Wagner & Evans, and Carl Sandy.
Gerry enjoyed being a mom, gardening, boating, landscaping, sewing, cooking, caring for her home and spending time with family.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.She is survived by their son, Christopher E. Reynolds of Monticello; grandchildren, Devin & Lexy Reynolds; siblings, Thomas Jenkins, Judy Marsh, Janet Voorheis; and the family dog, Remmy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Diane McConnell, Dick Jenkins, Joe Jenkins, Bill Jenkins, Ruth Carman, Carol Sternberg, Jim Jenkins, and infant brother Robert Jenkins.
Visitation will be Friday, May 22, 2026 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Rosary will be prayed at 3:30 pm, Friday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church with Fr. Dan Duff, the celebrant.
Burial will follow in Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Happy Tails. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church.
