Eddie W. 'Nick' Greear

Eddie W. "Nick" Greear, 76, of Monticello, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the home of his companion in Monticello.
He was born on March 7, 1945 in Dorchester, VA to the late Clifton and Thelma (Thompson) Greear.
Nick worked at TPW Railroad, Monon Trailer, and Walmart for a short time before his retirement. He enjoyed watching wrestling, joking around and spending time with his family and children. He never met a stranger.
He is survived by his companion, Bonnie Bondarevich of Monticello; son, Eddie (Michelle) Greear of Burnettsville; three siblings, Gary (Rhonda) Greear of Monticello, Lowell Greear of Monticello, Ronnie (Cindy) Greear of Monticello; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Edwina Greear of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Clifton Greear; siblings, Frances Lewis, Bob Greear, Avon Collins, Wanda Gilliam, and infant sister, Patsy Greear.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of services at 7:00 pm Monday, December 6, 2021 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with Pastor Ian McMillan officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made out the funeral home to assist the family with expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
