Donald Dean Ross

Donald Dean Ross, 86, United States Airforce Retired, Reynolds, formerly of Riverside California, passed away Monday, June 4, 2007 in White County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Monticello May 25, 1921 to the late Kenneth Ross and the late Katherine (Newton)Ross. He married Annes (Ward) Ross May 13, 1941 in Logansport, IN. She passed away on June 22, 1961. He then married Peggy D. (Vernon) Ross June 21, 1980 in Riverside, CA. She passed away Feb. 13, 2006. Mr. Ross graduated from Roosevelt High School in Monticello, IN. He received his B.S. Degree in Aeronautical & Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. Mr. Ross was a retired Lt. Col. in the U.S. Airforce serving as a Navigator Engineer. He attended the Methodist Church in California. He was a member of the Libanus Lodge #154 F&AM. Visitation: 11AM to 1PM, Saturday, June 9, 2007 at Springer -Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1PM at the Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Pastor Charles Blakey of the St. James Lutheran Church, Reynolds will officiate. Burial will be in Olivewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Riverside, CA next week. Memorials may be made to the St. James Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
