Diana Joan Scott

Diana Joan Scott, 70, of Monticello, passed away at her residence on Monday, January 29, 2018.She was born on April 12, 1947 in Newton County on the family farm to the late Robert and Gladys (Doyle) Delaney.Diana was a 1966 graduate of Morocco High School. She worked at Monon Trailer.She attended Faith Covenant Church and enjoyed Bible study there. First and foremost, she cherished her family. She loved people and had a special place in her heart for everyone and her door was always open. She enjoyed latch hook, puzzles, crossword, word search, and reading. Additionally she loved Disney movies and her favorite bird was the Cardinal. Surviving are her children David (Mary) Scott Jr. of Wentzville, MO, Rosanna (Kevin) Reynolds of Monticello, Jay Scott (companion, Tammy) of Logansport, Jeremy (Amanda) Scott of Buffalo; siblings, Kenneth (Janet) Delaney of Rensselaer, Linda Roy of Brookston, Sandra (Ralph) Hall of Morocco, Vicki (Randy) Allis of Morocco, Steven (Thresia) Delaney of Williamsport, Patricia (Roger) Homeier of Monticello, Richard (Pam) Delaney of Macy; fourteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one on the way.She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Delaney, and sister, Sharon O'Donnell.Visitation will be on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm celebrating Diana's life at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with Harold Rutledge officiating services.Burial will follow in Riverview I.O.O.F.
