Dennis James Mueller

Dennis James Mueller, 66, of Monticello, passed away at 4:41 pm, Sunday, August 12, 2018 at I U Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.

He was born on March 24, 1952 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Albert and Caryl (Karnitz) Mueller. On June 29, 1996, he married Kathleen Goyette at the Monticello Christian Church and she survives.

Dennis worked as a CNC operator at Terra Drives Systems in Wolcott. He had previously worked at Monon Trailer and Ball Corp. Dennis' deepest roots were in Monticello and he was a past member of the Monticello Moose and Sons of The American Legion. Also, Dennis was a big Green Bay Packers fan, a wood worker, and Kathy's personal handyman. Dennis loved traveling around the country and visiting National Parks. He loved to entertain and was happy to be the grill master. Dennis loved family gatherings, both planned and impromptu. He loved cheese curds, brats, and beer, like so many Wisconsinites.

He is also survived by; four daughters, Lesha (Kenny) Brenek, Alyssa Downs of Monticello, Tianna "Ti" Mueller of Monticello and Megan (Adam) Freck of Chicago; two sons, Larry Mullins of Monticello, Scott (Lindsey) Mullins of Logansport; two brothers, Bruce (Patty) Mueller of Washington State, Craig (Pat) Mueller of Hartford, Wisconsin; twelve grandchildren, Dylan, Nathan, Ryan, Berlyn, Ethan, Julian, Lucas, Reyna, Zayden, Austin "AJ", Arie and Oliver; several nieces and their families.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 2, 2018 at noon at the family home in Monticello.
