Dee Ellen Pearson

Dee Ellen Pearson, 60, of Monticello, died at 4:26pm on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at IU Health Hospital in Lafayette. She was born on June 26, 1952 in New Richmond, IN to the late Kenneth Martin and Elizabeth Ellen (Killey) Frey. Her marriage was to Fred Pearson on April 6, 1991 in Monticello. He survives in Monticello. Mrs. Pearson worked for Landis-Gear and then Wabash for 14 years. Mrs. Pearson was a member of the Chow-Chow Club and the Amercian Kennell Club. She enjoyed showing her dogs. She is survived by 2 sons, Keith Shoaf of Monticello, Kain Pearson of Monticello; daughter, Elizabeth (Alan) Taylor of Warsaw; 3 sisters, Brenda Howe of Stockwell, Anita Miller of Shadeland, Tammy (Bo) Halsema of Lafaytte; 4 Grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5pm until 9pm, Sunday, December 16 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Monday, December 17, 2012, 10:30 am with her brother-in-law, Pastor Ed Pearson officiating.
