Danny J. Snowberger

Danny J. Snowberger, 58, of Monticello, passed away at 4:00 pm, Friday, January 8, 2016 at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
He was born on December 7, 1957 to the late Virgil and Thelma (Stotler) Snowberger.
Danny attended Faith Covenant Fellowship.
He was an avid Colts fan, liked owls and collected owl memorabilia, and liked feeding and watching birds. He also enjoyed watching old episodes of MASH and Bonanza. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and grilling out with his daughters.
Surviving are his daughters, Stacy J. Snowberger and Jessica L. Mattey both of Monticello; grandchildren, Matthew, Silas, Aivah, William, and one on the way; brothers, Ron (wife, Teresa) Snowberger of Monticello, Carl (wife, Dianne) Snowberger of Lafayette, Stephen (wife, Cindy) Snowberger of Monticello, and Norman Snowberger of Burnettsville.
In addition to his parents, Danny was also preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Allen Snowberger; and his grandson, Thomas.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of funeral services celebrating Danny's life at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Rev. Keith Raderstorf from Faith Covenant Fellowship will officiate.
Burial will follow in Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery, rural Monticello.
Memorial contributions may be given to Faith Covenant Fellowship with envelopes available at the funeral home.
