Daisy June Cook

Daisy June Cook, 68, of Monticello, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Monticello.She was born on June 26, 1948 in Lafayette to the late Clarence and Ethel (Ward) Draper.Daisy was a security guard for Tri-State Security for five years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by three sons, George P. (Dawn) Cook, Jr. of MI, Jody B. (Misty) Cook of Elkhart, William W. Cook of Lafayette; two daughters, Cheryl (James) McAnelly of Monticello, Shannon Gage of Elkhart; two brothers, Clarence Draper, Jr. and Martin D. Monroe; four sisters, Virginia Carnahan, Dara Carpenter, Carolyn (Don) Elliott, and Sara "Kitty" Draper; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.She was also preceded in death by a brothers, Robert Draper, Jack D. Hines, Donald K. Draper, James Draper, and a sister, Mary Monroe.Visitation will be Saturday, February 25 from 1:00 pm until the time of services at 3:00 pm celebrating Daisy's life. Services will be at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Dodson officiating. Private burial will take place at the Brookston I.O.O.F.
