Cynthia Louise Moore

Cynthia Louise Moore, of Monticello, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at her sister's residence.

She was born in Lafayette to the late Robert and Sharon (Damon) Schmitter.

She was a 1975 graduate of Twin Lakes High School and worked as a private housekeeper and in lawn care. She also cleaned at Shadyhill Speedway race track for her father. Cindi enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and playing piano. She was a true giver and loved doing for others. She put others first and gave of herself.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.

She is survived by companion, Ray Potenberg; six siblings, Therese (Noel) Zook of Fountaintown, John Schmitter of Monticello, Virginia Jacobs of Monticello, Matthew (Susie) Schmitter of Soddy Daisy, TN, Laura Young of Chattanooga, TN, Barbara (Peter) Broedel of Monticello; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by siblings, Mark Schmitter and Sandra Schmitter; son, Mitchell Cooper, Jr.
