Charles Isom Yates, 87 of Monticello passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at the Brickyard of LaPorte, in LaPorte Indiana.
He is survived by his daughter, Dawn M. Yates (Husband, Duane G. Beadles) of LaPorte; sons, Shawn M. Yates of Portage and Scott E. Crawley of Merrillville; grandchildren Kristen C. Ortega of South Bend, Nicole D. Yates of Portage, Brandon L. (wife, Ashley) Ortega of Michigan City, Cheyenne S. Yates of Hobart, and Kyle and Katie Yates both of Portage.
Private services are being coordinated at the convenience of the family.
Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello is entrusted with care.
