Betty Marie Dunn

Betty Marie Dunn, 76, of Monticello died at 6:00 pm Friday, November 13, 2009 at White County Memorial Hospital. She was born February 26, 1933 at Orange County, Indiana to the late Earl and Lilly Mae (King) Speer. Betty was a member of the Yeoman United Methodist Church. She had worked as a housekeeper and dishwasher. She also worked at McDonalds. She enjoyed knitting, taking care of her cats, and was an avid Elvis Presley fan. Survivors include a granddaughter, Jerica Pearson of Wolcott; great-grandson Paetyn; several nieces and nephews, including Robert Eugene (Mary) Speer of Monticello. She is preceded in death by a son, James Albert Dunn Jr.; brothers, Basil, Bertice, Russell, James, Earl, and infant brother Robert Speer; sister, Kathleen Betts. Visitation will be from 6 pm until 8 pm, Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home Funeral services will be 2 pm, Wednesday, at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Rev.
