Bessie I. Eubanks

Bessie I. Eubanks, 87, of Monticello, died Thursday, March 8, 2007, at 5:00 PM at her residence. She was born on June 22, 1919 in Byesville, OH to the late Carl McHenry, and the late Cornella McHenry. She married John E. Eubanks, and he passed away on October 27, 1990. Mrs. Eubanks graduated from Byesville High School in Ohio. Mrs. Eubanks had worked at Bryans Manufacturing for many years. She had worked for her son John Eubanks who had owned the Monticello Drive-In Theatre. She enjoyed Gardening. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Monon. Survivors include Daughter, Judy (Kent) Sims of Dallas, GA; Son, John R. Eubanks of Monticello, IN; 2 Brothers, Arliss (Jackie) McHenry of Cambridge, OH, Melvin McHenry of Cambridge, OH; 5 Sisters, Bonnie (Robert) Duddy of Monticello, IN, Linda White of Goshen, IN, Irene Mallett of Byesville, OH, Janet (Wayne) Reed of Senncaville, OH, Berdine (Stanley) Williamson of Avella, PENN; 5 Grandchildren, Kent Sims of Bradenton, FL, Heath Hershan, TX, Cheryl Sims of Dallas, GA, Debbie Sims of Canton, GA, Lucinda Deal, TX; Great-Grandson, Dylan Rogers She was preceded in death by her sister Margie Abrams. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Graveside services will be on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monticello, IN with Chaplin Zachary Rainey officiating. Burial will be in Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monticello.
