Arthur H. Ziemer

Arthur "Art" H. Ziemer, 77, of Monticello, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at I U Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
He was born on July 19, 1944 in Lafayette to the late Harry and Stella (Forqueran) Ziemer.
He was a graduate of Reynolds High School and worked as a nurse in a Chicago, Chesterton, Laporte and Michigan City.
He was a member of Association of VFW and Eagles. Art liked cooking, fishing and playing cards.
He is survived by his brother, Raymond L. (Shirley) Ziemer of Avon Park, FL and a sister Morna Pass of Lafayette and several nieces and nephew.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Lyle Ziemer and a sister, Jean Winke.
No services are planned at this time.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Council on Aging or the Monticello Veteran Honor Guard. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
