Annabelle M Johns

Annabelle Johns, 84, of Castle Rock, CO formerly of Monticello, passed away on August 20, 2026 in Parker Post Acute in Parker, CO.

She was born on August 29, 1941 in the Philippines to the late Buenaventura Manansala and Trinidad Angeles. On January 17, 1981 she married Larry Johns in the Philippines. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2024.

Annabelle worked for Joseph Motors / AO Smith and later worked in the deli at Walmart. She liked to crochet, cook Filipino food, and flower and vegetable gardening.

Annabelle was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a constant beacon of support for her family. Throughout her life, she put the needs of others first and always offered a helping hand whenever someone was in need. 

She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church where she sang in the church choir.

Surviving are her children, Rodney (Danijela) Johns of Castle Rock, CO, Phillip Johns of Cibolo, TX, Catherine Johns of Seattle, WA; and granddaughter, Anjelka Johns.

In addition to her parents and husband, Larry, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Visitation will be from 5pm until 8pm on Friday, September 4, 2026 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. The Rosary will be prayed at 4:30pm on Friday at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, at 10:30am at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church with Fr. Dan Duff, the celebrant.

Burial will follow in Bedford Cemetery.
