Norma Mahaffey

Norma Mae Mahaffey, 76, of Brook, formerly of Monticello, died on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:25 am at George Ade Memorial Healthcare Center in Brook. She was born on October 23, 1934 in Bushnell, IL to the late Hiram and Florence (Arnett) Yocum Norma was a nursing assistant, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the VFW. She is survived by 4 Daughters, Margaret (Jonathan) Molencupp of Rensselear, Paula (Paul) Johnson of Monon, Pamela Retman, Iowa, Linda Pittford, Iowa 3 Sons, Billy (Joe) Carlton, Iowa, Robert Carlton, Michigan, Larry (Gerry) Carlton, Iowa; Sister, Dorothy (Don) Miller of Angola, IL. 2 Brothers, Gerald (Cerie) Yocum of Monticello, George (Fannie) Yocum, Wisconsin. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Kristy Johnson of Francesville, Christopher Johnson of Lafayette, Charlene Molencupp of Rensselaer, Jonny Molencupp of Rensselaer, Jeramy Johnson of Monon, Isabella Molencupp of Rensselaer. Other grandchildren include, Cathy, Angie, Sam, Adam, Ali, Missy, Jody, Tonja and Richard. She is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mary Champion and Frances Kodecker and two brothers, Danny and Wayne Yocum. A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 7 pm (central time) at First Christian Church in Brook, IN. The address is 105 W. Broadway Brook, In.
