Mary Gormack

Mary A. Gormack, 95, of Monticello died at 10:25 am, Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare Center. She was born January 2, 1917 in Chicago to the late Stephan and Angela (Bruszczka) Anaczewski. Her marriage was to John Gormack on October 13, 1939. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. She was a homemaker. She is survived by a daughter, Romaine (Leonard) Simala of Monon; son, John (Judy) Gormack of Mokena, Illinois; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 5 siblings; two granddaughters; and infant twin grandsons. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 am (EST) Monday, January 23 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church with Father Gerald Borawski officiating. Visitation will be private. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois with Father James Goodrum officiating committal services.
