Helen S. Lovett

Helen S. Lovett, 91, of Monticello, passed away at 3:45 pm, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Whispering Pines, Monticello. She was born on September 24, 1923 in Holly Hill, Kentucky to the late Calvin and Rebekah (Murphy) Lay. Her marriage was to Orville Lovett and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Community Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Shirley (Richard) Schooley of Frankfort, Glenis Lovett of Camden, Christine Brown of Monticello, Brenda Lovett of Frankfort; sister, Mae (Bill) Hilbert of Cincinnati; ten grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with Pastor Gary Roberts of Grace Community Baptist Church officiating.
