Heather M. Corbin, 30, of Mundelein IL, died at 11:30 A.M. Friday February 20, 2009 at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. She was born in Monticello, IN on Sept. 1, 1978, to Mark A. and Deborah L. Davis Draper. She married Joel C. Corbin on June 17, 2000, in Monticello IN, who survives in Mundelein, IL. Their son, Henry Joseph Corbin, was born on June 5, 2008. Heather graduated from Twin Lakes High School in 1996 and received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Political Science and Economics with Phi Beta Kappa honors from Indiana University in 2000. She received a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Colorado School of Law at Boulder in 2003. She was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2003. Heather was employed at CCH Tax & Accounting Publishing in Riverwoods, IL as a Senior Indexer. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing tennis. She also enjoyed gourmet cooking and the cinema. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. Other survivors include her parents Mark and Deborah Draper of Crystal Lake, IL and sister, Nicole E. Draper of San Francisco, CA, maternal grandparents, Donald G. and Patricia L. Davis of Monticello, and paternal grandmother, Norma J. Draper also of Monticello. Funeral services will be held at the Monticello United Methodist Church at 10:30 AM on Wednesday with Rev. Alex Hershey officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Tuesday at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home in Monticello and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
