Elizabeth "Beth" Bentlage, 58, of Monticello, passed away at 7:46 am, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at I U Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born on September 5, 1960 in Lafayette to Russell Hilt and Eileen (Schrader) Hilt. Her mother preceded her in death. On June 2, 1984 she married Mark Bentlage in Lafayette and he survives.
Beth was a graduate Central Catholic High School in Lafayette and IUPUI. Beth was a mammography technologist for thirty-seven years and worked at I.U. Arnett Imaging Center in Lafayette.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.
Beth's family, church, and friends were her life. She adored her husband, children, and especially, her grandchildren. She loved dragonflies. She was a supporter of White County Special Olympics and participated in the Relay for Life.
Surviving are her husband, Mark of Monticello; her children, Kathryn (Hoyt) Ellspermann of Whitestown, Tyler (Ashley) Bentlage of Monticello, Kristin (Tiburico) Martinez of Indianapolis, and Trevor Bentlage of Monticello; grandchildren, Gunnar Ellspermann, Joey Ellspermann, Adeline Martinez, and Collins Elizabeth Bentlage on the way; siblings, Theresa Hilt, Anna Hilt, Mark (Cindy) Hilt, Lisa (Johnny) Puckett, and Lori (Dale) Ringer, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Visitation will be from 4 pm until 7 pm on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. The Rosary will be prayed at 3:45 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church with Father David Rasner celebrating. The church is located at 543 S. Main St., Monticello, IN.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to benefit Trevor Bentlage. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and also at the church or mailed to Mark Bentlage c/o Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, 202 South Illinois St. Monticello, IN 47960.
