Doris B. Stevens

Doris B. Stevens, 84, of Monticello passed away at 8:38 p.m., January 24, 2009 at Whispering Pines Rehabilitation Center. She was born on May 30, 1924 to Grancis W. and Ethel J. (Sappenfield)Briscoe in Greenville, IN. She was married in Rockville, In on August 15, 1970 to Richard B. Stevens who preceded her in death on October 5, 2001. Doris was retired from White County Memorial Hospital as a cook. She was a member of the Monticello Church of Christ. She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her family. She is survived by one daughter Brenda (Robert) Cochran of Royal Center, IN. Three Grandchildren: Wendy (Dave) Tarlton of Garrett, IN , Brian (Carmelita)Cochran of Rochester, IN and Michelle (Brad) Carrier of Logansport, IN. Three Great Grandchildren: Joshua Barron of Logansport, Christina Ream of Lafayette, IN and Lindsay Ransbottm. There will be private family services.
